The inaugural SAA Forum Conference took place on Monday and Tuesday, September 15–16, at Hotel La Villa on Lake Starnberg.

The conference offered an ideal blend of theory and practice:

- In-depth Strategic Asset Allocation analyses
- Live demonstrations using MATLAB
- Practical insights from real-world experience
- Insightful and engaging discussions
Together, we explored an innovative and engaging format for each presentation and asset class covered:
1. Asset Class Profile: Overview of key characteristics and features.
2. Modeling: Mathematical modeling and simulation of risk-return profiles.
3. Portfolio Contribution: SAA analysis to assess the impact of the asset class on a traditional insurance portfolio.
